Captivated by minimalist lines and emotions these days. This one evokes a strength in stillness … a decision to be unchanged despite pressures of others and the environment.

Unashamed to say I love this one. In addition to the simple form and color, the subject is aging gracefully … a subject that takes an ever increasing amount of time and attention in my life. This would be really cool sculpted in clear glass.

This one is a little different … channeling Kandinsky and Klee a bit.

There was a toy called “colorforms” when I was a kid. It consisted of vinyl pieces in various puzzle-like shapes and colors which you could stick to a slick, vinyl covered back board. I was always tempted to cut the pieces with scissors and I had to discipline myself to stick to the shapes provided. Free of that restriction in the digital world.

The older I get, the more attention I have on aging … or, maybe it’s the other way around. Here’s a silly image of a woman caught in the same trap. Is this woman facing you or does she have her back turned?

Though I create at least one work a day, I usually only post one or two to my blog. Today I felt inspired to post three recent works.

I had attention on the importance of connection with potential collectors and this was the result. The distillation of a moment in my life … that’s pretty much what all of my art is about.

A brief visit back to simple line drawings of simple emotions … it is good for me to remember that the truth is basically simple.

Sublime in its simplicity … this one really sends the message.
