Blue Nude 2

There was a toy called “colorforms” when I was a kid. It consisted of vinyl pieces in various puzzle-like shapes and colors which you could stick to a slick, vinyl covered back board. I was always tempted to cut the pieces with scissors and I had to discipline myself to stick to the shapes provided. Free of that restriction in the digital world.

Graying 2

The older I get, the more attention I have on aging … or, maybe it’s the other way around. Here’s a silly image of a woman caught in the same trap. Is this woman facing you or does she have her back turned?

Vision 8

Though I create at least one work a day, I usually only post one or two to my blog. Today I felt inspired to post three recent works.

Connection 4

I had attention on the importance of connection with potential collectors and this was the result. The distillation of a moment in my life … that’s pretty much what all of my art is about.

Kiss 11

A brief visit back to simple line drawings of simple emotions … it is good for me to remember that the truth is basically simple.

Blonde 6

Another colorful and minimal piece where lines and forms greet a stylish blonde woman. She’s got a purple hat and a matching scarf.

Madonna 2

My take on a classic subject. Vibrant colors and crisp forms bringing joy and wonder to the observer.

Leaning 3

I really hope this one finds a good home and prints of it proliferate far and wide. I like it a lot and I want to share it. I think it represents the zenith of where my art is right now … and the great thing about creativity is that there are future zeniths yet to come!

Reflecting 3

A monumental piece of color and form … harks back to my grammar school days of decorating bulletin boards with colored construction paper cut with scissors and pinned to the cork.
